TTC and exercise....
Heres the thing...
At the risk of giving more clues as to who I am, I am pretty much a regular exerciser
For various reasons, I couldn't keep it up when I was pregnant with my 1st. I'm hoping I can be this time though...
I just spoke to my OBGYN to ask a whole bunch of questions.
When I asked her if I could work out at the level I finally am back to, she was like
she told me that I can do low impact, and my heart rate can't go over 140 BPM - that's like nothing for me.
I'm torn - I am currently making some changes to my exercise routine that I am very excited about, and am thinking I may not be able to see it through if I get pregnant soon.
I mean - either way, its a win win - i get pregnant, then I'm pregnant, if I don't, then I can continue with my fitness goals. But there's a part of me that is getting in the way of both commitments, kwim...
I don't know.

Re: TTC and exercise....
I don't think exercise is a problem until you actually get PG again.
If you've been working out regularly, then I think it's safe to continue working out - although again, like your ob/gyn said... not raising your heartrate above a certain level.
I wouldn't go crazy and stress your body to the point where you might delay ovulation or anything - KWIM? But regualr, normal exercise - I'd think - would be good for you!

Re: TTC and exercise....
I was told that I could work out now and if I do it fairly regularly then I could keep it up throughout my PG.
Seems odd that she would say to do low impact

Re: TTC and exercise....
I'm spinning while TTC and I can't even tell you what my heart rate is during that! high!
But when I get PG I'll hold off for the 1st trimester like I did with DD and then go back and wear my heart rate monitor and keep it below or around 140.
When I was PG with DD I was VERY cautious...but I know my body now and I think I'll do more than I had done with DD.
