TTC after birth control
Hey ladies! I am an occasional poster joining in on ttc. I was just looking for some opinions : ) I finished my last brown pill and period on January 16th. Had what seemed to be another period on the 29th. 28 days from the 29th would be yesterday February 26th, still no sign of her and tested negative frer yesterday. Should i retest in a couple of day if she still doesn't show? Had regular cycles before and during birth control. Could my body still be adjusting? Any similar experiences? TIA

Your cycles are going to be off for a few months. Def DEF use alternative methods of BC for a few months. I did not, got preggo immediately and immediately mc'ed. I know a few other people that this happened to, and on the flip side I know of women who got preggo right away and were fine. Probably just your body adjusting, it takes about 6 months for most people (though docs say to wait only 3).

I went off in November, and was told by my doctor to wait 3 months to start TTC. This was my first month trying and AF is still MIA 4 days later and I've had negative FRERs. Your body is probably just adjusting, I know mine is lol. I was on the pill for many years because I had a messed up, painful cycle, and now I seem to be going back to that which stinks. HTH.

My body did some weird things when I first came off, totally normal. I will say on the plus side AF has been quite regular. Now, if I can only nail down my O date lololol!

My first cycle off the pill was appx 53 days but I did get a bfp and go on to have a healthy baby that pregnancy.

give your body time t adjust but I would still track ovulation and have some fun in the mean time
