TTC # 2, refresh my memory
Hi everyone. I haven't been on this board for a while. DD was 4 in April and I think we may try for #2.
Remind me how much folic acid I should take and how far in advance should I begin taking it along with prenatals?

My Dr. advised me to take prenatals 3 mo's before ttc. I think they suggest 800 mcg of folic. My vitamins have 975mcg. Sending lots of baby dust. I hope your stay on this board is short.

With my son, my OB recommended taking the folic acid and the prenatals 6 months prior. And if possible 1 mg of folic acid. But everyone is a little different. Good luck!!
