TTC & drinking
i'm going away Fri night to AC and then going out again on Sat night for halloween... so drinking will most likely be happening on both nights.
i'll be about 6 DPO on Fri and my period is supposed to arrive on Nov 3rd.
it will be too early to test before i leave, right? and should i just try to take it easy with the drinking, like only have a couple?

Haha we will be there too!!! I will most likely be 3dpo I am going and enjoying myself not thinking about a thing!We are going to see phisj DH will be dressed up like a banana keep a look out

oh thats funny! a biiiig part of me wants to not care and just drink as i normally would and have a great time.

At 6dpo implantation more than likely hasn't even occurred, on average it happens between 7 and 10dpo. And you don't share a blood stream with baby until after 6 weeks anyway. Have fun, hopefully it will be the last time you get to enjoy some drinks for awhile. And good luck if you're going to be gambling!

I usually drink during the TWW... but really I drank because there were soooo many mnths with BFN's that i was just discouraged and didn't think it was going to happen.
Friday I had plans to go to a bday party and I was planning on drinking a lot. Something told me to test that morning... and that's when I got the faint BFP.
So all in all... since it's too early for you to test, I would drink but not go crazy. And then test when you can.

Enjoy yourself. There have been plenty of pregnancies because people had a little too much to drink.

My friend told me she got trashed the night before she tested and she knew it was going to be a BFP b/c she was 2 weeks late and my cousin said she POAS with a cigerette hanging out of her mouth...also my Aunt and Uncle in-law were thinking of naming their daughter pina colada! I feel guilty everytime I sip a glass of wine and I'm on cycle day 12!

You can drink without worry.
When I found out I was pregnant with my son I got worried because I had been our drinking at a birthday party about a week before the BFP, so I did some research.
When it is that early in the pregnancy (before you are even late) the placenta is not formed yet, so there is no alcohol going to the baby. So..., drink up because, hopefully, it will be the last time you do so for a while.

I would drink if I was in your position. When I got a BFP once the Dr said any drinking I had done in 2WW wasnt a concern at all. I remember in September 2009 (not a typo) I went out to dinner with friends for a bday and didnt order a drink. They immediately asked if I was PG. The sad thing is I thought I was. Never again am I doing that!!
