Trying after a Chemical Pregnancy?
Last week, I took a few pregnancy tests and got a BFP but over the weekend I started spotting and it eventually led to heavier bleeding. My doctor said that it was probably a chemical pregnancy but sent me for bloodwork. I spoke to someone else from my dr's office today (she's away) and my hcg level is very low so I did in fact have an early miscarriage (chemical pregnancy). From what I have read online, it is okay to start trying right away after a chemical pregnancy because nothing ever attached itself to the uterus but I asked today and she told me that I need to wait 2 cycles? Does anyone know anything about waiting after a chemical pregnancy?

Re: Trying after a Chemical Pregnancy?
We tried right away both times. I THINK the reason drs. tell you to wait is so that if you should get PG again, they have an accurate LMP.
Good luck! I know how hard it is to finally get the BFP and have it taken away.

Re: Trying after a Chemical Pregnancy?
i had two chemicals. after the first, as per my RE, we were allowed to try again right away. my beta was extremely low (5) and AF came just 4 days late.
the second time, as per the RE, we had to wait one full cycle. my beta that time was a lot higher (46) and AF was over a week late. AF was also VERY heavy and it was obvious from the bleeding that it wasnt like the first chemical, something had actually been there.
i def dont think you need to wait 2 cycles. sorry you are going through this
