Trying afte M/C
I know there are some of you out there that have recently miscarrried. I just did, and my dr. said we can start as soon as we are mentally ready. We are!!! So, my question is, do I count my past bleeding as my period and start from there? I mean, I just want to have some gage to measure to. I am not charting--just tryiing our luck again. Hopefully it will be as quick as last time. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks girls!

Re: Trying afte M/C
I miscarried 2 weeks ago and had a D&C. i was told to wait 2 cycles. If you passed the tissue naturally, which I think you mentioned you did, than go for it. I heard so many great stories of those that got pregnanct right after a miscarriage. I wish you lots of luck! I am still bleeding 2 weeks and 1 day later so I'm no help. Personally I would count this bleeding as your cycle and watch for signs of ovulation.

Re: Trying afte M/C
I had a m/c and d&c in August. I am trying again. Not everyone ovulates the cycle that they m/c. I would wait until your first AF to then count. Until then I would just BD every other day or as you would when you are trying. If you want to know whether you o'd then I would use opks. HOpe this helps! Sorry for your loss!

I am very sorry for your loss.... I had a D&C on September 7th. I bled for 15-16 days afterwards and am waiting now for my first normal cycle. My Doctor told us we could start trying, as long as we were mentally ready, after 1 normal cycle..... best of luck and lots of

Re: Trying afte M/C
Thank you all for your support. We can't wait to start to try again. I am feeling fine but the Dr. said most of the women who miscarry naturally recover a little quicker. The day after I saw the tissue come out(Sorry TMI), I stopped bleeding so hopefully my body is off to a speedy recovery too! Thanks again!!

Re: Trying afte M/C
I'm sorry to hear about your mc. I mc'd in May and passed it naturally as well. I was told to wait 2 cycles before we ttc again and we are still ttc. i have heard that you are at your most fertile right after a mc so if you feel ready i would start right after your next af (i wish i hadnt waited!!). GOOD LUCK!!
