TRU.com vent!!
So this is the second time I tried ordering something online to have it shipped to the store and using a GC online. the first time i got an email 3 days after my order saying the order was canceled (2 days before a weekend with 3 birthday parties!) and they were putting my money back on the GC...the GC that i threw out 3 days ago!! So I had to wait over a week for them to send me a new gift card.
last night i ordered 3 gates online to have them picked up because shipping was like $30 (even with the "free" shipping). i used 2 GCs. The second I hit submit i get an email that only 2 were purchased and they did not put my GC towards the purchase YET when i checked the balance of my card it was ZERO! I emailed them right away p1ssed off since this is the second time and said i want a full refund and the money back on my card. At the very least I will never do an online order for pick up ever again...doing any order any time soon...i dont know.
I was supposed to have those gates today so i can stop stressing!!!

same thing happened to me except not with a gift card with paypal. within an hour of ordering they cancelled my order but they held up my funds in paypal for over a week. i ended up getting it back 3 days before christmas. that was after a phone call to them 2x a day. finally i got someone who could help me. i will never do that again.
