Trouble sleeping?
I am 6 weeks and am having trouble staying asleep. I am exhausted at night and go to bed about 9 or 9:30. But then I start waking up around 3ish and spend the next 4 hours trying to get back to sleep.
anyone else have this trouble, any suggestions? thanks

Re: Trouble sleeping?
No suggestions but I wanted to say I had insomnia for a few weeks and then it went away, so hopefully yours will be short lived.
Good Luck!

Re: Trouble sleeping?
Yes, me! I have had insomnia since week 2 of my 2ww. Try warm milk, lavender body lotion, also you can try eating some turkey or a hard boiled egg, they contain a natural ingrediant called triptohphene (sp) which is supposed to help with sleep.
If you get desperate talk to your OB/GYN they may let you take benadryl. I am still suffering at 15 weeks and my OB wrote me a prescription for Ambien, only because I have had such bad insomnia I have barely slept for more than 2 hours in the last 12 weeks, I have taken it a couple of times and still only slept a couple of hours. I have to say I have noticed the last couple of days I am starting to feel a little different and have actualy managed to sleep for 2 hours one afternoon.
I feel for you, talk to your Dr if it doesn't get any better. My OB told me that in most of his patients with severe insomnia it gets better around 16 weeks, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
