Trees
I would love to buy a tree to plant in front of my house this year. I have no idea where to buy one and I do not know exactly what tree would do really well on my lawn. We live in Levittown. I would need something that accepts part shade/Sun.
I love the really colorful trees but I don't want all the annoying flower petals on my lawn.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Scott

Re: Trees
What mature size do you want? 20ft, 40ft or 60ft
When do you want the tree to mature?
Flowering tree?
I personally like crape myrtles. They grow relatively fast, they have nice flowers, not too tall.

Re: Trees
Only evergreens don't lose their leaves. They have green leaves/needles.
Trees that have leaves changing colors will lose their leaves in the Winter. Those are deciduous trees.
Type of evergreen trees: cypress, pines, but also bushes that flowers like camelias, rhododendrons, which can get quite tall, etc..
Deciduous trees: well... most trees!
The ornomental trees you posted has both flowers to clean up AND leaves that will fall.
But even a Japanese maple will lose it's leaves in the Winter.
