Traveling toward the end?
What does everyone feel like with 3-4 weeks to go, do you feel like sitting in a car for three hours to go to a party? Someone's planning a bridal shower and was asking me about dates and they want to do it 3-4 weeks before i am due. My concern is being that far away and I am not sure if i am going to feel like sitting in the car that long.

Re: Traveling toward the end?
I wouldn't feel like sitting in a car for that long so close to my due date... but then again I don't like long car trips even when I'm not pregnant!

Re: Traveling toward the end?
I went on a shopping road trip with my girl friends when I still have about 6 weeks to go and it was rough. I had to pee a million times and on the way home we got stuck in traffic and I turely thought I was going to pee in my pants it was so bad.

Re: Traveling toward the end?
I wa sin the car for 2 hours coming home from Brooklyn at 33 weeks- I physically couldn't move my bladder was in so much pain. We drove from Babylon to Patchogue last night, and I was cringing in pain the whole way. at 35 weeks. I would be weary.
eta- at 35 weeks, I need to pee every 20 minutes or so.

Re: Traveling toward the end?
that might be a bit long. Could there be traffic too?
I just drove about 1hr last weekend and my butt was killing me from stilling that long.
3 hours, then sitting at a party and then driving home, to me, that's too much.

Re: Traveling toward the end?
My husband just went upstate about 4 hrs away for his brothers funeral and being that i'm 36 weeks along my doctor told me I wasn't allowed to go. Most doctors won't let you travel even 2 hrs away towards the end, just too risky.
