Transfer & DH
My DH was with me last time. There is a chance bc of work obligations he may not be able to be with me this next time. That's ok right? I mean I know it stinks but it's not necessary for him to be there is it?

Re: Transfer & DH
Depending on the day of mine, DH might not be able to be there either! We orginally thought he would be on vacation but it seems it is going to happen the week he goes back. I am ok he won't be there, I am bringing my mom with me...

Re: Transfer & DH
My DH was there for my 1st transfer but couldn't be there when I had my FET transfer. I prefer to have him there but it was OK and he usually feels kind of weird about watching so he didn't mind.

Re: Transfer & DH
I like DH there too, but in all honesty he's done with his part. Its only for emotional means now. Actually at RMA and Cornell he wasn't even allowed to watch. So, the 2 we did at RMA he stayed in the car and I called when I was done and Cornell he actually came in and was brought into recovery. This is going to come out bad, but I really just needed him to drive me b/c I was too nervous to do it myself. We got into a huge fight on one of those trips home and I had to have a no talk policy after #3. You'll be fine, the important thing is to do the transfer and concentrate on that.
Best of luck!!!!!!

Re: Transfer & DH
Do you need a ride home??? I could take the morning off and go with you - even just for moral support! Seriously, please, let me know!

Re: Transfer & DH
The first time DH was NOT at the transfer. You dont need a ride home. He came to my second one and we went out for lunch and just went home and relaxed.

Re: Transfer & DH
Out of 12 transfers, DH has been at one. You can drive yourself there and back, so it's not necessary for anyone to be there with you.
