Toysrus canceled my order
There was no explanation. I put the order in for a few things on Black Friday. I ordered a Karaoke machine for $49.99. That was supposed to be one of our big gifts for the kids. I got an e-mail last week that said our UNO game was canceled and then yesterday the e-mail came in that the karaoke machine was canceled. There wasn't even an explanation for a refund. It wasn't until I called that they decided to refund me with a gift card since I partially paid with some gift cards. I had to even point out that they weren't even refunding me the tax or the $5 rewards I used. I couldn't believe how unprofessional the whole situation was. Next year I rather buy from anywhere else and not Toysrus. I am so disappointed. Did this happen to anyone else?

Toysrus canceled my order
Not on black Friday. But Toys r us did this to me a few weeks ago. I complained and was given a free $25 gift card.

Toysrus canceled my order
I keep getting emails that they are experiencing high volume of orders... no kidding... and if my order didn't ship in 30 days it would be canceled. Usually they're so fast with shipping.

Call the corporate number and speak to a manager. I have had problems with them in the past and they usually provide some type of compensation.

Toysrus canceled my order
This happened to my friend who placed an order on Black Fri as well. I placed an order last week and it's delayed.
My friend was able to go to Toys R Us this week (after calling and complaining) and purchase her entire order in store (prior to learning about the cancellations). I ran in yesterday to get something and ended up purchasing my order as well since they had everything in stock.

They did this to me last year and the stuff came back in stock so I made them honor the BF prices and ship for free.

I oredered a few things from TRU but VERY early -
I would NEVER EVER order during the holdiay season b/c they are known for pulling that crap -

They didn't cancel my order.............yet. LOL I did get an email the other day saying they are having shipping issues and it should ship by the 15th. I hope they are right. Now I am nervous. I usually avoid TRU like the plague but they had a good deal on something I was looking for.

I got the same email and I got notification that my items shipped today (I already re-purchased them yesterday in store after my friend's woes).

So the squeaky wheel does get the oil. Thanks for the advice, ladies. After making a big stink (twice) I got a $25 promotional gift card code. It was a nice band-aid for the time being, but it was a pain to have to deal with. I probably spent an hour and a half on the phone with them in total. They promised to reimburse me for the canceled items with a gift card between 24-48 hours. Not true! Still waiting. I am giving them until tomorrow before I call again like a mad woman! This is really a very crappy experience.

Toysrus canceled my order
I ordered a bunch of stuff from TRU...their shipping dept is awful!! I'm up to 3 items that were "supposed" to be in certain boxes, as per the packing sheet, yet were missing. Two calls this week already, they refunded with out a problem just stinks having to deal with it. I get home today and a package that was waiting and a double of something lol

i wont order from toys r us anymore either.
3 years ago i ordered a slide for in store pick up. they cancelled my order but didnt refund my money for weeks-after i begged them to. I really had to stay on top of it. it was horrible.
btw did you see the man from holbrook ordered from toys r us and got hypodermic needles instead of his order?!

TRU and BRU are the WORST and I won't even consider ordering from them anymore. I've never had anything but headaches dealing with them and I've finally given up. I've yet to speak to a single competent person in their customer service department.
