Law & Order Canceled
Law & Order will not return to NBC next season.
The long-running drama, which topped out at 20 seasons, neared Gunsmoke’s record for the longest-running TV drama series in history.
E! News reports that the cast and crew was informed of L&O’s cancellation today.
FYI: The cancellation only applies to the flagship Law & Order, so spinoffs including SVU will stay on the air

UGH. I only watch this one and SVU...so sad...
Anyone else feel like they ALWAYS take the good stuff off the air?? I mean, I know this has been on for 20 seasons - a pretty good run for any show...but I find it hard to get into some new shows...and when i do...they get cancelled!!

I couldn't get into after Green left (actually, after Brisco) so I understand it.
Glad SVU is staying, I watch that one a lot.

That's what I was telling DH. The old one get cancelled and the new one don't even finish the season.

I am sad over this too! I have been watching for years...
I also heard/read that they already taped what they thought was the season finale so there wont be any real closure either
