Toxic drywall from China
How can I be sure I am not sold that toxic Chinese drywall? Is it marked made in China? Has it been withdrawn from the market?

60% of the new construction homes I was looking at in a Florida community have this and the walls have to be torn out so as you can guess, we are no longer looking in that development. I did find this:

Yes if you are buying dry wall, you can look around the edges. It will say "Made in USA or Made in China"
If you're using a reputable company like a home depot or warehouse, chances are they are not using toxic dry wall.
DH said it's pretty hard to find around here anyway

I am so sorry to hear that rkoenke. My cat got very sick from the dry food she eats for her diabetes, but luckily got better when I threw it out and gave her another brand. It looked funny, greyish almost like it was molding though it wasn't.
