 | personal question-UPDATED Please excuse my personal post, but I am freaking out a bit and I am wondering if this could be a side effect of the pill...Here is my situation...
Friday-had horrible cramps, gas like pains and sharp pains in my stomach
Saturday-the pains calmed down a bit, but still had gas like pain and some cramping, my chest was a bit sore and I also was very lightly spotting at night
Sunday-Today I had some cramping, and woke up bleeding...then it stopped and came back with more cramping...
ETA: I am also running a slight fever

Could this be from the pill? AF isn't due until Tuesday/Wednesday...
I wish my doctor was around..I am worried!

 | Re: personal question for girls on the pill You may have ruptured a cyst or something like that. Pain with fever could also be an infection. If it keeps up definitely go to the ER. Is your period due or is this just some random bleeding? I hope everything is okay. |

No the pain isn't even consistent.....
I get stronger than AF type cramps in my lower stomach and lower back on and off. It was really sharp on Friday but has calmed down.

Call your Dr. first thing in the morning unless the pain gets worse then go to the ER.

Well I was on antibiotic this month which makes the pill less effective....
But I did take a test today and it was negative. I am not going to lie, this thought has crossed my mind though.

 | Re: personal question for girls on the pill I've never had that with the pill. Sometimes I get mid-cycle spotting. What about a urinary tract infection? Here are the symptoms from webmd:Pain or burning when you urinate.
An urge to urinate frequently but usually passing only small quantities of urine.
Dribbling (inability to control urine release).
Pain or a feeling of heaviness in your lower abdomen.
 Reddish or pinkish urine.
 Foul-smelling urine.
 Cloudy urine.
Pain in your back just below the rib cage, on one side of your body (flank pain).
 Fever and chills.
 Nausea and vomiting.

I had a fever and sharp pains when I had a UTI, and that could also explain the bleeding.

 ETA: Feel better!

 | Re: personal question for girls on the pill i just read some of the symptoms for an ectopic pregnany. it sounds a little like your symptoms. it said the symptoms are1.vaginal spotting or bleeding
 2.dizzness
3.lower back pain which can be sharp and stabbing and may be on one side of the pelvis.

and most hpt wont pick up an ectopic pregnancy. if you think you may have this, i would go to the er.
it can be serious. please keep me updated.
