Andrew's going to be a BIG Brother..
YEP. Andrew's going to be a BIG BROTHER!
I swear, I didn't know what was up with my body, but I know I was sick like a dog the week I was supposed to get AF, and it took a week to shake it, but then I got better. But every symptom I had was classic MS. But, I took a HPT every other day and they were always negative.... No AF, just some spotting. I was using the CBE fertility monitor to track my cycles to see if I was ovulating (I had troubles in the past), and on day 9 when the monitor asked me for my first POAS, it read peak fertility (meaning I was ovulating). Only then did it click that the monitor was reading 2 lines, but not ovulating lines. So I went out and bought some HPT's and sure enough, on Wedensday I got my first positive!!! I couldn't believe it, I took two tests to be sure.
I think all along the cheapy internet test strips I was using were fine, I just think I didn't wait long enough for the test to develop. I assumed when I saw the control line and nothing else, I was negative. I wonder how long I've been PG and just didn't wait long enough for the PG line to show.
My last AF was on July 24th, but I am almost positive I O'd on the 18th of August, which puts me at 5 weeks instead of 6.5 according to LMP. I called my OB and they won't see me until the last week in September (at least 9 weeks along). My appointment is on the 29th, by then I should know my EDD. But I think its early May, which is right about the time Andrew turns 2.
We are very excited here.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Andrew is adorable! I love the pregnancy tests--I did the same thing-took the same two and took a picture for proof!

When do you think your due date will be? So happy for you, your husband and most of for your Andrew!!!!
Too funny my Andrew has the same book and a similar Tee shirt! And my 2nd baby is due right around when my Andrew turns to too. I will be sure to let you know how having a newborn and almost or 2 year old will be in March.
