Too Nervous!!!!
I have butterflies the size of boulders in my stomach. I am waiting for the VP of my department to be free...so that I can tell him that I am leaving the co.
I don't want to burn my bridges...because you never know what the future holds...so I need to remain unemotional.
I love the people that I work with....but I can't work under this type of stress any longer.

Boy, I know that feeling. Just remember in a matter of minutes it will all be over and your will feel relief. You have to to whats right for you.

I lit a fire under J.D's chair..he went in and freaked on VP...he's so angry right now. He said he was warning them for months of situations like this...now they're looking at a mass exodus of the one department that makes them money.
I am meeting with the other co. on Thursday because like you said, never burn your bridges. The writing on the wall is there for me too....it says "GET OUT!!!". Maybe if I switch companies, I can actually enjoy a Christmas for the first time in 5 years.

I'm glad that eveything is out in the open...and since they are trying to come up with a counter offer...I may decide to stay...because 3 wks vacation and 5 personal days is hard to give up.
In a few days time I should know if I will be making an exit....or staying under my own terms.
