I feel the same way...the themes are terrible this year...2 weeks of Beatles songs is 2 weeks to long for me...and not for nothing but Dolly week...  - by far a snooze fest...

God i hope they don't all choose super cheesy songs...If i have to hear celine dion for an hour i'll gag (no offense to celine lovers!, lol).

Inspirational songs...That's what idol needed, more slow ballads that will ultimately be seen as inferior to the songs' respective artists.

Oh, don't forget the viewer phone calls.
There is so much "filler" on Idol that we DVR it and watch it the next night, fast forwarding to the performances. We can watch an episode in about 20 minutes

I adore him though, I have to say..he is so unphased and taking it a day at a time. He seems very down to earth and like he'd be happy to stay, and just as happy to leave.
