Tomorrow is Take your Child to work day!
So excited my daughter is coming to work with me. She is only 2 but I am allowed to bring her in for a 2-3 hours then my Dh is picking her up and taking her home!! I am so excited to be able to have her here with me!! Everyone can't wait to see her! I have my office all ready to go. I have toys, and a portable DVD player and her chair.  Anyone else bringing a child to work tomorrow..or am I the only crazy one.

No, my boys are too young. Almost 3 and 9 months.
I'd love to, but it's a lot and there's no way anyone can pick them up early either
Have fun!! 
ETA - I think other employees are bringing in their kids, but they're much older. They're providing lunch, snacks, some activities and a movie.

Yes I am sure the 2 hours she is here I will not be working!! haha! I will have her walk the long halls and visit all the offices! If I dont visit every single office they will yell at me!! haha! My Dh will be glad when he picks her up cause she will probably be exhausted!

I'm not taking DD. She's unpredictable and gets easily bored. She'd wreak havoc in my office. She'd love all the little hidey-holes to explore in our office though.

I think the minimum age at my job was 6 or 8, so no.
Ours was also pushed to next week or something because I think there is some state exam tomorrow?

Once they can repeat what you say at home, you may rethink that.
I still remember at our company's Kids At Work Day, hearing a child ask who the cranky old man his mom worked with was...right in front of the President/Cranky Old Man.

Yep, NYS Math exams are this Wednesday- Friday. It is a 3 day test! 
While I would love to bring my 3 year old to school, I am proctoring the Math test all morning so that would be a definite no-no!

I loved going with my mom as a kid, it actually is what made me want to work in education. The year I went to work with my dad was god awful Can't wait to do this with DS one day
