toddlers/babies & time zone changes
has anyone traveled out of their own time zone with their child????
how did they handle it? were there problems? are their tricks to it? can anyone shed some light on this.
we leave for CA Wednesday early AM....

DS adjusted fairly well when we took him to CA last month. Our flight left mid-afternoon. DS fell asleep the last hour or two of the flight and slept through everything. He woke up pretty early the first few mornings, but didn't have a tough time adjusting to the change. It took a little longer to adjust when we got back home.

I think DS adjusted better than us. Probably because he just took an extra nap or a longer one.. where we just sucked it up and stayed awake. I didn't do anything special. I just tried to keep him up as long as I could the first night and kept him in bed as long as I could the next day.
