I think that kids can grow out of things that affect them in childhood. My son is already growing out of his childhood asthma and he is only two and a half!

My goddaughter was, and she totally grew out of it. She's 4 now, and loves her chocolate milkamilka.

YES! We were told DD was lactose intolerant when she was an infant and that was the reason she was put on soy formula. But...she was fine at about 10/11 months and did well with yogurt and cheese and then we switched to whole milk without a problem.

My Ped. says yes, sometimes as quickly as 6 mos or a year.
DH was lactose intolerant as a baby and has no problems now.

My coworkers daughter grew out of a milk allergy by age 7.

Absolutely!!!!!!!! My DD's cousin is a perfect example -
couldn't eat any dairy and was on soy formula...she is now almost 4 and can eat anything!

my DS isn't lactose intolerant, but is allergic to dairy. he's 2 and hasn't grown out of it, but we're hoping!
