Toddlers & Tiaras...anyone watch...
The show made me very sad. Poor little AshLynn...I hope her mom sees the show and has a lightbulb go off in her head and start treating her better. I just wanted to hug her.

The commercials to that show always make me sick, I actually saw part of the show last night and had to turn it off. I feel so sorry for those kids

I am so glad she got the directors award.
her mother wasn't even celebrating. Did the mother really take the bad twin aside and tell her she won since she got 2nd and ashlynn got 3rd?? that's sick!
good for the father for taking care of the bad one...but really, I would be bad and exhasted too after a freaking day like that.
that one mom spent 70K! OMG. so they won 1K back...wth?
that one with 2 week old baby...she was crazy.

I happened to watch 1 episode months ago. I found it all disturbing. There was actually only 1 little girl I felt happy for - she did not wear ANY make-up, her family did not pressure her, she competes 3xs a year because "she likes to be a princess" 
Some of the other parents/kids make me sick

those parents should be ashamed of themselves. They live through their kids and its awful. I think the whole kids in pagents is wrong. JMHO.

Just from the coming attractions we wouldn't bother watch the show... It's a disgrace they way the parents allow them to dress and act... I feel bad for those kids

Oh my gosh..........YES!!! I was APPALLED by all of those mothers!!! How awful for that little Ashlynn that she already knows she's 2nd best. That mother was horrible to her. That poor kid is going to grow up with such a complex. And the one with the 2 week old baby!!!!! I'm sorry, that is demented. Parading this poor 2 week old baby around with his little head flopping all over the place. He should be taken from her, that's child abuse. That baby should be home sleeping, relaxing, getting adjusted to his new world........not traveling and "modeling". Sick. So, so sick. I would NEVER put my DD in any of those contests. All those little girls look like 22 year old women, it's ridiculous!!

Thank you!!! I was SOOO Mad at that mom last night for the way she just put down poor Ashlynn! THat mom needs someone to kick her in the butt and show her how to love and treat her kids equally before her behavior has lasting effects on that sweet little girl!
Oh and dont even get me started on the mom who put her 2 WEEK OLD Son in a pageant so see if he had the same love and stage presence as her older son!!!

I watched some episodes of this show last season and I agree, it is disturbing. fake teeth, hair the money-it's crazy!
I'm not a pageant person myself but I don't write off all pageants because of this. As with any reality show they are showcasing the extreme.
I think EmmaNick just had her daughter in a pageant and she looked really cute-age appropriate and adorable. I see nothing wrong with that. The stuff they show on this program is just crazy.

I posted on the celeb board about that mom of the twins - I didn't watch the whole episode because I saw more than I can stomach with that beyatch. But I want to HURT that mom because she's DESTROYING her girls. I feel so bad for the one who doesn't win because her mom SSUCKS. I just want to hug that poor baby.

Okay I can honestly say this show is crazy. I was a pagent kid (I was born and raised in TX) and can honestly say that I was completly pushed into this crap until I was ten and FLAT OUT REFUSED my guardian. I can tell you one thing some kids do want to do because they feel special. I however as are most was not one of them. I will have to look in my photo albums and post a pic of me all "DOLLED" up.

I was completely sickened by the mom with the twins. She was a complete horror and should have been smacked in the face.
The woman with the 2 week old boy...really? REALLLY?! Come on now! My favorite was when they announced him and said, "And this is whateverhisnamewas. His aspirations are....well....to grow up."

I have seen it and was so sickened by it...
But I dont agree with the statements all pagents are bad. Because I have seen some, kid ones, recently that are NOT like that. They are fun, the kids have fun, they are NOT all about beauty etc...They celebrate the kids. They girls dont wear make up or dress like mini grown up's.
So its just a matter of the Mom's IMO. They are to blame for choosing this type of pagent vs. the kinds they obviously have that are nothing like this.
ANyone who would do this to their child, put makeup on them etc like this show is crazy.

I don't understand pageant moms, nor do I ever want to....watching a show like that makes me too angry at the way they treat and parade their daughters around like they are some piece of material.
I wonder and worry about those poor little girls' self esteem. It's hard enough growing up a girl...but in that type of environment?? Are you serious??
There is something wrong with those mothers. I just don't get it or them.

Age appropriate pagents are fine where the kids look like kids and not like little freak shows. That show disgusts me. I feel like it is a form of non physical sexual child abuse. These little girls paraded around with hair, makup, tanning. Its disgraceful.
