Toddler suddenly throwing up milk?
Never had any issues before until this past week. Thought it was a virus but he's had juice, water, etc but sporadically is puking up milk.
Milk isn't bad and happened when he was over my mothers...not just my home.
Could an intolerance suddenly appear?
At a loss.

Re: Toddler suddenly throwing up milk?
DD#1 did this when she was abot 20 months. Could eat a small piece of cheese, but would vomit if given 3 oz or so of milk. We had her stop drinking it for a while. She used to eat yogurt too. Then started to say on and off if made her cough or bothered her stomach. We ended up pretty much cutting out drinking milk for months. Only gave her a small piece of cheese once in a while. Ped insisted she was intolerant. Wouldn't test for an allergy. After a year we tried her back with drinking milk and it didn't make her vomit but gave her loose stools. Low and behold she broke out in hives one time and while testing her it turned out she was positive for a minor milk allergy. The allergist was even surprised bc he thought she was intolerant. Now we still do not give any milk, cheese, yogurt, etc but she can have limited items that milk is baked into. Too much gives hers a little facial rash.
I was told when she was vomiting after milk it could be from mucus and the milk irritated her stomach, intolerance, allergy. Can you cut it out for a while and give calcium enriched orange juice instead for a bit to see if it continues in say 2-3 weeks?
