Toast in Port Jeff
We went there for breakfast yesterday and it was awesome. Enough so to rival Maureen's Kitchen. Apparently they aren't doing the fondue at night anymore, just breakfast and lunch but what a breakfast it was. We may have found our new "spot"!

I love toast!!! I never go to Maureens kitchen, since it is always packed, and I was not so impressed with it.
Z-pita in Port Jeff is doing the fondue night know. This is also a great restaurant, and it also has breakfast on Sunday morning.

I agree. Maureen's kitchen to me is just overrated diner food. I never got the attraction.
To wait that long for diner food- I just could never justify it.

I can't say I ever felt Maureen's was diner food - they have some awesome stuff.
You aren't getting lobster salad at a diner, that's for sure.
Maureen's is on Terry Road in Smithtown - just north of 347, by the Watermill.

Yes!! We were just there a week or so ago (because Toast had a wait) and breakfast was SO good!! Huge portions though watch out!
