To RE or not RE...
For those who have seen an RE, perhaps you can help me with this.
I saw an RE for my first pregnancy-- although, at the time of my appt, I had ovulated literally the day before and had already conceived-- but didn't know it yet.
We ran the usually battery of tests, and she didn't find anything wrong based on my history. She had put me on progesterone because I thought that was my issue and I requested it and she agreed since she said it couldn't hurt-- and I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. Basically once I got my BFP and started the progesterone supps, the only thing she did for me was monitor me before releasing me at 8 weeks.
Now, I don't know for sure that progesterone was my issue. I do know from tracking my cycle, I have a short LP. I don't want to go ahead and get pregnant, only to lose it again- and have to try again another month WITH progesterone.
I am seeing a new OB next week, and I am sure will discuss it all with her-- but, do I just get another progesterone script and use it-- or wait and see what happens on my own, OR go back to an RE??
Hope that made sense, and thanks for reading!
