To look or not to look
I was late setting up my registry. My invites haven't gone out yet but my shower is 2/5. I've been going on to look and edit and noticed 2 big items were bought. Never expected that.
Are you girls looking at your registries? Or do you want to be surprised by what you're getting?

I was just updating the other day and saw my bedding, mobile and window treatment bought already. That was a surprise, other things I knew about. But I will stalk.

I stalked my own registry up until a few days before my shower. I had suspicions and did not want to confirm them by seeing an increase in items purchased.
ETA: My shower was supposed to be a surprise.

I don't look ever, at all...I didn't with my wedding registry also.
I just feel like I know what I put on it, and so I technically already know what I will possibly be getting, so I want to keep the surprise and the fun in opening each gift...
seeing a big box and not just KNOWING "oh thats the car seat" because it's the only big thing that got bought, KWIM?
But I am a big fan of surprises and such, so I had my mom tell me "ok, don't look at your registry anymore" and at that point I stopped...
I've had to make a couple changes to certain things, and I just had my mom do it.
I do ask her every so often "how many items have been purchased??" lol but that's all

I was looking regularly but now that my shower is 2 weeks away I've been staying away to keep the surprise. It's so hard though!
