Potty training finally done! (May be TMI)
Big big thanks to everyone to gave me potty taining advice on here and Facebook. DS has been pee trained since March but refused to poop on the potty, so to avoid withholding/constipation issues I let him poop in a diaper. Well 3 months later and I got sick and tired of that LOL. Yesterday we took ALL diapers away and told him potty or else (and he knew he'd be rewarded with a new car). Today I let him hold the car, still in the packaging, while he tried to poop on the potty and after 3-4 times it worked! A little juice helped things along too. He didn't complain about it hurting, thank goodness, which was our issue last time. One down, one to go!

that's great! We still have poop on the potty issues-- question, does he sleep in pull ups? I feel like since we rely on the pull ups for sleep, we can't take them away for pooping (this is what Sash poops in). she also has consitpation issues, so we don't want her holding anything in as it is- but, I feel it's time for her to go on the potty. With prune juice, prunes and miralax every AM-- her poops are nasty!

This was a huge fear of mine - withholding and constipation - so that's why I let him continue to poop in diapers. He wasn't allowed to wear them all day though, he had to come to me and ask for one when he had to poop. I have no experience with pull-ups because he hated them, but I can tell you that after 4-6 weeks of being pee trained he was waking up dry every single morning so we took the diapers away at night and he would still be able to get out of bed and ask for a diaper if he had to poop. Is that something you can try?
