TMI post: I threw up, now what?
I *think* I am in my eighth week. I have been sick since week 3 or 4. But it usually just feels like motion sickness, and I have dry heaved before but nothing ever came out. Usually eating makes me feel better and everyday for lunch I have a cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll with lettuce and it always makes me feel so much better. Well today, I ate it and immediately after I actually threw up. The entire cheese sandwich. It was disgusting. It looked totally undigested as I had just ate it and I saw chunks of bread and chunks of cheese and chunks of lettuce. So gross. I was only able to stop throwing up when I had nothing left to give. This really bothered me because it never happened before. Is it ok or does it mean something is wrong? What do I do now? Do I try eating again or just relax for awhile? I feel so upset.

I wouldn't worry--I'd assume this is just morning sickness. Very common to throw up in your first trimester

Yup...that sounds like "morning" sickness kicking in. Of course it could be a virus but if it happens again, assume it's HcG related. Just relax if you have that luxury. Eat again when you're hungry. There were countless days that I'd vomit everything including bile, brush my teeth, wipe the snot off my face and put on a smile as I left the bathroom to resume my busy day as a SAHM. If it is pregnancy related, small meals...like 1/4 of the sandwich you ate...will help to keep your hunger at bay and will make puking less gross. Good Luck Mama...and Congrats!!!

Thats definately the 'morning' sickness only it lasts a lot longer than the morning. I never personally threw up, but my friend did. Quite often actually (sorry dont want to scare you), but just want to reassure you that it doesnt mean anything bad at all...
Throwing up is totally normal and happens to some of us...

LOL - thanks for that visual. Don't worry though, that's typical "morning" sickness for ya. I hope you feel better soon!

I did that for 5 months.
It's totally normal, don't stress it. They say it's a good thing to be sick - like rain on your wedding day

Welcome to morning sickness my dear!
Hopefully it will be short lived! Try to keep to bland dry foods with carbs. That usually helps ease it a bit

My thoughts exactly Ah, the joys of morning sickness. Sounds like you're perfectly normal I once had a bowl of cereal and like a minute later I was vomitting it up It really sucks but it doesnt mean anything is wrong. In fact, they say the sicker you are with MS the healthier your baby is

Definitely sounds like MS. Sounds like you need to find a new lunch.
