Tmi - first period after giving birth
I have my first period since having ds in May and I feel it is horrendous. I don't remember this with ds1. I am bleeding like crazy and it has been really heavy for 3 days now. Is this normal?

My first periods after each were SO heavy! Even now, years out, they still are heavier than they ever were pre-children. With that said, even though they are heavier, they are MUCH shorter and only last 3-4 days. Ill take heavy and shorter any day!

Since having DS, my periods have been on the verge of hemorrhaging. Plus side is there is now zero cramping.

My periods are definitely heavier than prebaby. For the 1st 2 days it is terrible. No cramps just so heavy. It also lasts a little bit longer.

Yep - I have to use tampons and pads at the same time.
Same as a pp said, it is much shorter though, like 3 days. 3 days of hemmoraging though

Ditto, except I had DS in October and they've been horrendous ever since. It's akin to bleeding to death while fruit ninja slices up your uterus.
