Your first period after birth
Was is it heavy and how long till it was over??? My period came 5 weeks post c-section delivery and it's so heavy. I'm not sure what to expect this was my first child.
I feel like taking iron pills or something because I'm kinda week from it all. Uhgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg  I hate having this feeling again

Are you breastfeeding? I was told if you BF you won't get your period.
I stopped a week ago.

I BF for 5 months and probably didn't get AF for another 2-3 months. I remeber my first 2 periods being heavy with more cramping, then it went back to normal.

I got my first one 4 mths PP. I have had 3 since and they have all been heavier. Then again, maybe it's been so long I've forgotten what they were like.
ETA: I BF and I still got mine. Some people do some don't.

My first period was 3 months pp and it was heavier than normal and a little more painful (cramps) than I had remembered. It lasted about a week.
Everyone told me to eat spinach and steak throughout that week...and I did.

I had a c-section and the first 3 were heavy, the first i got at 5 weeks pp and I had mega clots (TMI SORRY) the secord the same and then the third was not as bad , but still getting clots, started BC and now I hardly get one, it is like 2 days of lightness!!! It gets better just ***** at first!!!!!!!!!

I got my first period at almost 5mos PP (and I am BFing). It was VERY heavy, but only lasted 5 days. BUT it was VERY heavy. I was soaking through a super-plus 'pon within an hour for 2 of those days.

I got mine around 6 weeks post partum and it lasted around 10 days, very heavily.
