Tipping Shampoo person
How much do you usually tip them? Also, do you tip more if you're getting color or highlights and they do a little more... I mean, not much more, but take out the foils and maybe something else?

No... that's why I was asking. I usually tip about $2 to $3, but was wondering if I was cheap. Looks like that is the norm. Maybe a little more if they help out when getting a color.

$5 out of laziness. I usually just keep a $5 and a $20 in my pocket so I can whip it out for the shampoo person and then for the stylist.
I am socially awkward sometimes so I have to plan ahead, LOL.

I used to not tip them at all, they always got my face wet and hurt me when they tried to brush out me mop of hair, BUT....when I decided to try a career in the hair world, I had to start as a shampoo girl and I would get angry when I didnt get a tip, because that tip is basically all i made... so now I give the 2-3 bucks it I dont get wet lol , and 5 bucks if the message is good.
p.s
It only lasted 2 days because people dont tip lol and I couldnt live off of no tips

Usually $5-7 when I get foils...I have alot of hair and it takes awhile for the blond to come up so the shampoo girl takes it out in sections and its a long process.
