Tipping for laser hair removal
I go to a spa to have laser hair removal. I asked the girl at the desk if people usually tip and she told me yes. I didn't realize. Do you tip and if so, how much? 20% seems to come out to a lot. I only have lip done, which is about 3 minutes tops.

I tipped 5-10 but I did full leg, bikini, underarm, arm. Lip would warrant 2 or 3 dollars. That's generous if it is a 3 minute procedure.

I think I tipped about 20%. Definitely annoying for the limited amount of time spent with me, but since I went back for 5 sessions, felt like I needed to tip the full amount.

nope-I feel I was waaay overcharged for my package. ($2,500 for 18 sessions on underarm and bikini areas) I usually tip 20% for facials, massages, etc. but I haven't been too happy with this place or my results.

I used to work or a dr and I performed laser hair removal. The majority of people did not tip. Around the holiday sometimes my regulars would give $20 or $10 as a holiday gift. But most did not. I would say 95% did not tip. but this was a drs office not a spa.
