Do you tip carpet installers? If so, how much?

I had carpet put in recently and I did tip... Actually DH did and IMO, Im not even sure why he gave this much... It was 1 guy working by himself, carpeting a LR, stairs, and hallway and DH tipped $30
20 would have been more than enough IMO

We did - it was 2 guys, installed den and 2 BR. I think DH gave them $20 total, but not 100% sure if that was the amount. They are coming back to do stairs and hallway, so I'm sure we'll give them another tip

Absolutely not. I paid to have the carpet installed, I am not tipping on top of that. Tipping is out of control, and I work in an industry that involves tipping.
