tiny strand of blood in poop WWYD

i just changed pj's diaper and found the tiniest trace of blood. This morning (4:45 AM) when i fed him he was behaving like he had acid reflux. arching, screaming, kicking. I've posted in the past about his fussiness and wondering wether or not he had AR but he never showed me clear symptoms like he did this morning, and now the little blood in the poop? I called ped and they said a tiny trace is nothing to worry about as it could be from pushing. they told me just to monitor and call if it continues or changes for the worse. do you think maybe this is just one isolated incident? or something to worry about?

I would follow the advice of the ped as I dont think blood in poop is a sign of AR. (not sure though)

My DD had blood & mucous in a few diapers and it turned out she had a milk protein sensitivity. I bf, so I had to stop eating all milk products/dairy and now she is fine.

I'd get in with a GI especially if you think that he has reflux based on past feedings. He may not be tolerating the formula he's on. Blood in poop was one of the signs that DD2 had Milk Soy Protein Intolerance

yeah, i know blood is a sign of allergy...just wasn't sure if that was in any way related to how he behaved this morning, but those were more AR type behaviors. so confused. Maybe i didn't mix the formula well enough?? I was like a zombie this morning so thats possible.
