Timeshare Owners
How difficult is it to get a week if you buy a season and not an actual week?
And how difficult is it to swap weeks for other locations?
TIA

Re: Timeshare Owners
We haven't had any issues with ours but, we usually travel during off peak times.
We usually deposit into the trading company (Interval - we used to have RCI) to go elsewhere...
Our home base is in Orlando and we've traded to go to Hawaii and Aruba. ILs have used it to go to Puerto Vallarta.

Re: Timeshare Owners

Re: Timeshare Owners
Swapping weeks is usually pretty easy. And the further in advance you can make plans, the better. We belong to both RCI and Interval and find better exchanges through RCI. Plus RCI has better "bonus" offers then Interval. Like Interval you can book extra weeks at a discount, same with RCI. But RCI also offers somethig called "last call" vacations. They only post 6 weeks in advance, but if you have flexibility you can get a hotel room for $199, 1 bedroom for $219, or a 2 bedroom for $249. We have taken a couple of trips with this method.
