tile for entry foyer
I want marble, a polished marble? Is it a PITA to keep up? Is it durable? I know it'll get slippery, but we take our shoes off when we come into the house so that's not a HUGE concern of mine, I just want to make sure it's durable and not easily cracked

Will all your guest take off their shoes immediately? When it's wet, they'll be taking at least several steps on the polished marble floors. Just something to think of...

polished marble is beautiful in a foyer!! I love the look but just know its extremly slippery even in just your socks. if you have small children its something to think about.
