Ticketmaster Question
I want to purchase tickets for my parents as a gift, but the method of delivery is pickup at ticket office. Will it matter that I paid for them? Is there a place that I will be able to put their names on the tickets?

Re: Ticketmaster Question
I'm pretty sure the one who purchases them MUST pick them up. Thats what it used to be. They check your id.

Re: Ticketmaster Question
Maybe if you call Ticketmaster and do it over the phone with an operator they will be able to help you?

So how do you give tickets as a gift? That is a very good question! I guess if you had enough time you can have them mailed to you but if its too close to the date you have to pick them up.

FYI, you can't do it Well at least not online and the person over the phone was useless. She couldn't even pull up the show even though I could see it online To pick the tickets up you need the credit card they are ordered on plus phot ID!!

Re: Ticketmaster Question
you should be able to print out the ticket confirmation when you buy the tickets. You can give that to your parents and they use that as tickets for the show. The piece of paper is scanned, just like if they had actual tickets.
Check and see if you can do that.

Re: Ticketmaster Question
OK I ended up calling the show directly (it was a cirque du soleil show in vegas) and they were able to do it for me and put my dads name on the tickets. Ticketmaster was useless though!!!
