Jones beach theater/ticketmaster question

My mom bought tickets for a concert about 10 minutes after they went on sale hoping to get really good seats. She bought the most expensive tickets but is only sitting in the 'stadium 1' section. I went on ticketmaster today and I saw that there were seats available in Orchestra H. My first question is: are these still good seats even though they are a bit to the side? Why would she have only been offered stadium 1 when the same amount of orchestra seats were available? Last and most important question, do you think it's at all possible to "trade" in concert tickets to ticketmaster or at the box office? I know it's probably wishful thinking but my mom never buys anything and she's pretty bummed that she's not in the orchestra so I feel horrible for her. I don't want to buy those tickets for her and then not be able to sell the old ones. Sorry so long but thanks for your help

What are the seats she purchased and which ones did you see?

ETA: If I had seats in the 9 section of Stadium, I would probably prefer that over H in Orchestra only because you are way over to the left. I'm not sure you would sacrifice much, but I do know that center stage is better there.

Ticketmaster/Box office won't let you trade. But if you see a scalper they may trade with you if you offer to throw in some extra bucks to cover the difference.
