Thrift store.....where do you go?

I have been looking for these teacups as some of you know, I have started to look at thrift stores as per recommendations for all of you! Thank you Thank you!!! I went to my first thrift store on Monday and came out with about 6 sets!!! Do you have a favorite thrift store for housewares? Im looking for teacups and now I need an antique style picture frame. Thanks for all your help!!!

I once found a beautiful teak salad bowl set with tongs at Selden Thrift on Middle Country Road.

I paid $2...cleaned it up and oiled the set -- you'd never know!

I love thrift stores. Most hospitals and large charities have thrift stores. Also check out garage sales, as it gets warmer. Good luck!

Churches and human service agencies often have them too.

I know there is one connected to Southeast Nassau Guidance Center in Seaford.

There's a thrift store on Rt. 110 as you are coming into Amityville.

I also believe there's a Salvation Army in Babylon and there's a thrift store on Main St. in Babylon Village.

I think there are several more up in the Huntington area.

My family lives in Orange County (NY) and a lot of the churches up there are big into yard sales and rummage sales if you are ever looking to get out of LI and take a drive one weekend.

The yard sale idea overall is a great idea. In the next month or so they will be starting up.

there are several in the Huntington area. Two are on 110 (one in South Huntington; its on the right as you go north twds the Jericho Tpke/25 intersection; the other is run by St. Patrick's Parish and is just north of Reinwalds Bakery across from the cemetary).

There is the Community Thrift Store in Huntington Village on East Carver Street (if you know where Fad is on NY Ave, it's on the block across and down the sidewalk from Radio Shack).

Then there is the Salvation Army Store on Bellrose Avenue in East Northport.

There's also a Good Will I believe in Bellmore on Merrick Rd.

You can probably google thrift stores, and see what comes up!
