just b/c someone enters into a life of politics doesn't mean they aren't still HUMAN with FEELING and families who hear these things and get hurt... they are not "celebs" -- they work for the government and it isn't the fantasy land it is sometimes made out to be.
furthermore, it is probably the LEAST american thing we could ever do - calling someone a liar, making unfound accusations with no proof -- innocent until proven guilty is supposed to be one of our foundations -- slander like this is the opposite of being american.
Too bad so many Republicans think it IS ok to start rumors and make unfounded accusations and call people liars. Remember the vicious rumors and lies about Vince Foster being Chelsea Clinton's father and that HRC had him killed to cover it up? What did the Clinton's, and specifically what did HRC and Chelsea do to deserve such hatred.
That is just as unfair as rumors about Palin. It's just unfortunate that it is seemingly "ok" in this society of ours to spread lies about Democrats when it is just as wrong to spread them about Republicans, yet there is never the outcry of unfairness. So much for an even playing field and following of the golden rule.
