Thoughts on this beta number?
My friend is 11dp3dt and got her first beta as 179. I am thinking twins. Am I wrong? It has been exactly one year since I got my own BFP from IVF and I have totally forgotten my beta numbers.
Good luck to everyone! Trust me once you have your DC you will forget about all of the aggravation of infertility. It is worth being persistent!!

I agree. You really can't go by the number if it's twins or not.
I've seen women here have a first beta of over 200 and it be a singleton.
I've seen women here with beta's less than your friends and it's been twins.
However, with that said, 179 is a good solid number. Congrats to your friend!

I totally know that you don't know for sure from a beta. I was just curious what people's guess would be! I used to use this beta site but it doesn't seem to be activated anymore.

Is that the same thing is 14dpo? I got a beta on 12dpo and mine was 102... at 14dpo it was 226.. and I'm having one.

at 9dp5dt which would be 14dpo my first beta was 161 (with twins), 2 days later is was 360.

I had a beta at 14DPO and It was well into the 500s. I only had one

That's a good number, but it really doesnt matter how high the number is, its how quickly it goes up. My first beta at 13dp5dt was almost 2,000 and I have a singleton.

i had beta done at 13dpiui with ds and it was a 126. by 15dpiui it was a 498.

My first beta my number was 257 and I'm having a single! I don't think the numbers really indicate anything.
