Those with 8 month LO's...
My dd turned 8 months this week and it seems like the days of her going down for naps easily has disappeared... She fights me on each one even though I know she's tired (she yawns, becomes clingy, and fusses)... So I get some formula in her, put her down for a nap and she is screaming her head off before she even hits the mattress
What the hell do I do?!?! It's so hard to listen to her crying... I go in and check on her once just to make sure nothing is wrong, give her back bink and when she sees I'm not picking her up, she continues to scream... Eventually will fall asleep, but how long is too long to carry on with her crying? I know I'm not a bad parent, but I end up feeling horrible walking out of the room...

Re: Those with 8 month LO's...
hahah I didn't see your post but literally just posed almost the same thing. Mine turned 8months on Monday and its been like that since Sunday for me. Mine has also never been a great napper (short cat naps) but this is crazy. He is screaming as I'm laying him down as well. He will only fall asleep while nursing but then wake up the second I try to make the transfer. It just took him 35 minutes of crying to nod off, It makes me feel like a horrible mother. I would be fine if I could rock him to sleep but he wants nothing to do with that either (was never a huge fan to begin with). I know exactly how you feel and wish I had a suggestion for you but you are NOT alone
