How long do you plan on working for? Are you wearing support hose at work? I already have bad vericose veins so I'm pretty nervous about them. I work 13 hour shifts on my feet and I don't know how long I will be able to do it once I start putting weight on

I worked for the longest time at our pizzeria, and it is all standing and long days....
Some days were pretty hectic...
I never wore support hose, but I did take sitting breaks a lot.... per my boyfriends' insistence...
I would make sure that you wear comfie shoes - I wore flip flops but not sure if that works for you, and make sure that you give your body a rest if it needs it.

Yeah flip-flops aren't an option, I work in the hospital. But I will find more confy shoes, the ones I have now are starting to get worn out.

Re: Those who work on their feet all day...
I worked 6 days a week 10 hours a day on my feet with DD#1 until the day I went into labor. I am a hairdresser. I really had no swelling issues or anything other than sore feet and aching back. This time I have appointments scheduled until 2 days before my scheduled c-section, but I only work 4 days a week now and not so many hours. I need to work to keep me from going crazy.
