those who stopped breastfeeding?
I have a few questions:
1. how long did it take to get your first AF?
2. How long did it take for the soreness and discomfort to stop? I stopped pretty quickly and it was painful, now I am just uncomfortable. But I can't wait to be able to hold my babies up against my chest right now it hurts too much? How long will this last?
3. How long until your chest when back to its regular size?
thanks

Re: those who stopped breastfeeding?
1. I got AF around 7 months PP, but I was still BFing. I had started to gradually stop though... at that point I was only nursing/pumping 3-4 times a day.
2. Since I stopped gradually, I luckily avoided any discomfort. I slowly weaned DS from about 7 months to 9 months. By the end, he was only nursing at bedtime and I had stopped pumping already.
3. It took about 2 weeks for my boobs to go back to normal, or should I say, to their new deflated state.

Re: those who stopped breastfeeding?
I got AF about 6 months before I stopped BF, which was still 18 months after DD was born.
It took about 7-10 days for my milk to dry up, and about 5-7 days for the discomfort to go away.
Ha! I'm still waiting for my breasts to return to their previous size but about a month after I weaned they've gone from nonexistent to existent with binoculars.
ETA: I should clarify that last point. They decreased in size about a week after I weaned but were much smaller than pre preg size. Finally they've started to increase a tiny bit back to my normal size.
