During the day our house is set to 64 and at night it's 62. We hate feeling warm and stuffy.

During the day it's at 68 and at night 66. We'll drop the nighttime temp when DD is old enough to use a blanket!

Before we had DD and I worked during the day it was at 62 while we were working, 68 in the morning and evening, and 57 at night.

Re: Those who have their thermostat on a schedule

during the day 67 at night 64.

We are going to get this:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/HA895LL/A/nest-learning-thermostat-2nd-generation

you can control from your phone/computer. Dh's cousin has it and it has saved him money. it also learns your patterns and will then adjust automatically.

These low numbers are impressive!!

We have ours at 69 during the day and 66 at night.

Whenever we lower it, our DCs start coughing. Pre-kids we were 60 while DH and I were at work, 66 during the evenings and 64 while we slept.

Re: Those who have their thermostat on a schedule

Kids are home all day

During the day
Downstairs 70
Upstairs 68 (they play up there to)

At night
downstairs 65
upstairs 70 (i would like it lower but my older ds gets chilly and wakes up so I keep it warmer so we all sleep)

DH and I have had it for nearly a year! We got it shortly after moving in so I can't say if it's saving us money but it's so awesome to be able to control the thermostat from my phone. I love it especially when we're coming home earlier or later than normal because we can adjust it from wherever we are as long as we have one of our phones. The only issue I have with it is that it disconnects from the internet a lot but that doesn't mean it won't work, it just means I can't control it from my phone when that happens.

When not home & overnight we shut it completely.
When I get home from work & on the weekends, I normally set it for about 68.
