those who go to aruba with kids...

so i've probably been to Aruba 7 times (parents have a time share) my 5.5 yr old has been three times (poor her right! Chat Icon ) but the last time she went she was 3 yrs old...so we were more than happy and content staying by the pool (marriott surf club) and beach every day. didnt really do much else...

but now that I have a DD (5.5 ys) and DS (4 yrs) I want to do stuff with them experience the island a little more.

anyone do stuff with their kiddies there..

I want to check out the butterfly farm and maybe the pirate ship.

any other recommendations for the family!

So excited been 3 yrs since we went and looking forward to it after this long winter! Chat Icon

We went last year with my then 1.5yo DS and 5yo DD. My parents took them to the zoo (cant remember the name) while we did a dive and they loved that. We all went to the Butterfly Farm and my DD could've spent hours there. She loved looking at them and having them land on her fingers. My parents and I took her on the Atlantis submarine and she really enjoyed that too. Otherwise, we spent a lot of time at the pool and the beach and searching the property for lizards.

I agree...pool and beach is fine by me...but figured I would see a little more of the island as well too...bec beach and pool is usually what we do...

So far my definites are Jolly pirate and Butterfly farm...that probably is enough...but well see we are down there for 9 days! I am sure we are gong to have to pry my son away from the slide each and every day! so boredom is DEF not a factor! lolol

I looked into the submarine...actually anything on De palm island..i've never been...but I know my DH will freak out with all the prices there! Chat Icon Chat Icon
