As a mom-to-be, may I ask what the reasoning is behind no toys in the kids' rooms? I thought thats where they would all go! LOL we will have an extra room that we COULD make a playroom if we wanted to, but I didn't think we had a reason to - so tell me!
Its just a preference for me at least - we didn't grow up with toys in our rooms. The bedroom was to sleep/read books not to hang out and play with toys. Its just the way we grew up. We have the extra room in our house so I prefer the basement as their playroom etc. Plus our bedrooms are upstairs and we don't go upstairs unless its bedtime so its pointless to have toys up their anyway.
