Those that flew/vacationed with an infant
What umbrella stroller did you bring?
I don't want to bring our citi mini with us to Jamaica, but DD will be 11 months so having a stroller would be really helpful.
TIA!
Also, do we need to bring the carseat with us? I'm thinking, what happens when we go in the cab from the airport?

We brought our Metrolite when we traveled with DS (ages 3mos, 8 mos, and 15 months). I'd offer to lend it to you, but it is in sad shape
As for the carseat, I would not bring it unless you are renting a car. We've carried DS in cab rides.

We just went on vaca last week. DS is 7 months old. We brought our Maclaren Quest with us. We also brought DS's car seat with us and am SO glad that we did. The airline let us bring it on board and DS was very comfortable in it. We also used it in the cab to and from the airport.

After talking to DH, I think we'll bring the carseat with us because our hotel is 30mins from the airport.

we took our quinny but DD was still small. we got a lightweight umbrella stroller that we will use now for travelling.
as far as the carseat. she was a lap child but i checked a couple of days before our flight and it was half full so i knew they would let me bring it on. I was sooo happy we did, DD was sleeping in it most of the flight! and it made life easier while on the way to the hotel as well ;)
