Thomas the Train 'Lovers" question

My son got two sets and some other pieces and trains for his second birthday. Since I for see him collecting this stuff for a while I was wondering what are some of your childs favoirte add-ons.


Lastly, what are your thoughts about adding on different lines (target, imaginarium). right now we have all thomas wooden railway stuff and i feel like I want to stick with that because the quality seems great and my son loves the Thomas characters. I think I "mommy" is also becoming a little bit of a Thomas snob lol

imaginarioum quality is great...especially with tracks and such which are compatible with Thomas stuff. we got the best train table last year for $100 form imaginariium

We bought the imaginarium train table but bought DS a couple of Thomas trains. In the future we will continue to add on more Thomas trains (vs other brands) as he loves Thomas. I also imagine we'll buy Thomas tracks and set ups and replace what's on the current train table with those. The Thomas trains are compatible with Imaginarium.

Yes..I have heard very good things about the imaginarium table but just don't love their trains. It is good to know that their tracks and products are compatiable though. I love the Thomas trains because aside from the 'characters' they look like real old fashioned steam engines.

Any add-ons that you would recommend???

We are loving the Thomas water tower and the mine tunnel. We also got him a signal house that lights up and makes sounds for halloween.


I'm wondering what else to add to the list??
