This sucks...UPDATED-went to OB (sorry long)
so i posted a few days ago about the hemmorhoid from hell that i have. It is swollen 4 times that size it has been all through this pregnancy and nothing is helping. I have tried the prep H wipes which did help soothe it, until i go to the bathroom and the OB gave me a perscription for a cream but that only helps until i go to the bathroom. This thing is swollen over blocking my entrance (sorry tmi). Im not sure what to do. The internal one is fine, it is the external one that is causing all the trouble.
what should i do? Im at a loss at this point. It's so painful! 
UPDATE: I was in so much pain i went to the OB. They squeezed me in and looked at what was going on. She said i lost 3 pounds, my BP was through the roof. She said the hemmorhoid is thrombosed (sp?). It has a huge blood clot in it and said it's one of the worst she has seen. I felt like a blubbering idiot because she just touched it and i burst into tears and couldn't stop crying it hurt so bad.
Nothing she or i can really do but let it run it's course. She said in a few days it should cut itself off and get better. She gave me a prescription for Daravset for pain and told me to keep using the cortosone cream.
She is however referring me to a surgeon to have the hemmorhoids removed as soon as the baby comes. She said i have 3 of them!! I have 2 internal and 1 external (the bad one). I only knew of 2 and the external one i have had a for a few years. I don'twant surgery but it will be nice to be rid of them. It still is extremely painful to walk and sit but i hope it gets better soon!

Try soaking in a warm tub.
I had the worst one from the day before labor until about 3 weeks after delivery.
THe warm water seemed to help!
Lots of hugs because I swear it was worse than labor for me!

I would try a sitz bath and dibucane ointment. They gave it to me at the hospital for my vaginal birth but on the tube when I bought it at home it also said for hemorrhoidal relief. I bought it at CVS and it is called Nuchal I think or something to that affect. It is in the same section as Preh-H. Also, maybe try tucks since that is just witch hazel and also has the cooling affect. I would put a thin pad on and then layer tucks pads and put the dibucane on ointment on top. See if that helps at all.

I say epsom salt sitz bath as well. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Make sure you're eating lots of fiber!
ETA: I would also ask the doctor if you can take Colace or some other stool softener to help ease the pain when you actually DO have to go.

Ditto on the colace you don't want to be putting any kind of strain down there!

I'll have to ask my mom as I know she had them with us. I do recall her having a "donut" cusion to sit on. That may help get through the day without aggrivating it so much. They sell them at any drugstore. It looks like a little red/pinkish innertube. She said she carried it with her everywhere. There are also sitz baths. Not sure what or how they work but I've heard of them being helpful.

no advice either...but know that sometiems all these weird things we suffer from when we are pg go away after the baby is born...and as i sit here watching my dd, I can't help but say, its worth all of the discomfort once they arrive!

Sorry so long but wanted to update all you ladies. Thank you for all your advice!!
I had all three hemorrhoid pads thrombosed with DS and had a hemorrhoidectomy 5 days before I had a cesarean with him. There is absolutely something that can be done now. Perhaps one is bearable, though given your post it doesn't seem to be the case, but I know there was literally no way I could continue the way I was with all three.
